Yedapo for AI agents: MCP server and HTTP API

Yedapo publishes AI summaries of about 3,500 podcast and YouTube episodes. Coverage is strongest on AI agents, Claude Code, startups and tech, with some Hebrew and Spanish shows. Each summary is written in the episode's own language.

You can give an AI assistant direct access to these summaries through a remote MCP server, or fetch them yourself from a plain HTTP API that returns markdown. Both are free and need no API key.

MCP server

  • URL: https://www.yedapo.com/api/mcp
  • Transport: Streamable HTTP, stateless
  • Authentication: none
ToolInputWhat it does
search_episodesquery (2 to 200 characters), limit (1 to 10, default 10)Matches episode titles, show names, summary topic tags and teaser text. Results are newest first within each match type, up to 10. Each result has the show, date, teaser, episode id and a page URL to cite.
get_episodeepisode: an episode UUID or any yedapo.com episode URLReturns one episode's summary as markdown: teaser, "Should you listen?" verdict, key takeaways with timestamps, chapter breakdown and the page URL to cite.

Both tools are read-only. Episode page links include utm_source=mcp so we can see MCP traffic.

Setup

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http yedapo https://www.yedapo.com/api/mcp

Claude Desktop and claude.ai

Open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Name it Yedapo and use the URL https://www.yedapo.com/api/mcp.

Alternative for config-file setups (claude_desktop_config.json):
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "yedapo": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "mcp-remote", "https://www.yedapo.com/api/mcp"]
    }
  }
}

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "yedapo": {
      "url": "https://www.yedapo.com/api/mcp"
    }
  }
}

VS Code

ChatGPT

In Settings → Apps & Connectors, enable developer mode under Advanced, then create a connector with the URL https://www.yedapo.com/api/mcp and no authentication. Availability of developer mode depends on your ChatGPT account.

MCP Inspector

npx @modelcontextprotocol/inspector

Then connect with the Streamable HTTP transport to https://www.yedapo.com/api/mcp.

HTTP API

Two GET endpoints, no API key. Both return text/markdown.
