Subscription Terms

These Subscription Terms govern billing, auto-renewal, cancellation, and refunds for paid plans on Yedapo. They form part of, and are incorporated into, our Terms of Service. By purchasing or maintaining a paid subscription, you agree to these Subscription Terms.
1. Free Plan
The Yedapo Free plan costs nothing and requires no payment information. There is nothing to refund. You may use the Free plan indefinitely with no obligation to upgrade. Free-plan features, limits, and quotas are subject to change at any time.
2. Pro Plan & Pricing
Yedapo Pro is a recurring paid subscription billed monthly ($9.99/month) or annually ($99.99/year), exclusive of any applicable taxes. The features included in Pro are described on our Pricing page and may be updated from time to time. Prices are stated in U.S. dollars unless your purchase flow indicates otherwise; the amount charged in your local currency is determined by your payment provider at the applicable exchange rate.
3. Auto-Renewal
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) using your selected payment method, at the then-current price for your plan, until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize Yedapo and its payment processors to charge the recurring subscription fee on each renewal date. It is your responsibility to cancel before a renewal date if you do not wish to be charged for the next period.
4. Price Changes
We may change subscription prices and the features included in a plan. If we increase the recurring price applicable to your subscription, we will provide advance notice through the Service or by email before the change takes effect. The new price will apply to your next billing period after the notice period. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel before it takes effect.
5. Taxes
Stated prices may not include value-added tax (VAT), goods-and-services tax (GST), sales tax, or other applicable taxes and levies. Where required, such taxes will be added to your charge and collected by Yedapo or its payment processor, and you are responsible for paying them.
6. Payment Processors & Platform Purchases
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers, which may include Lemon Squeezy (acting as merchant of record for web purchases), Apple (App Store), and Google (Google Play). Yedapo does not collect or store your full payment-card details; those are handled by the relevant payment provider under its own terms and privacy policy.
Important for in-app purchases: If you purchased your subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play, your billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are managed by Apple or Google under their respective terms — not by Yedapo. To cancel or request a refund for an in-app purchase, you must use the subscription-management and refund tools provided by Apple or Google. We are unable to issue refunds for purchases made through those platforms.
7. Cancellation
You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account settings (for web purchases) or through your Apple or Google account (for in-app purchases). When you cancel:
- You retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period.
- Your account automatically reverts to the Free plan when the billing period ends.
- No further charges are made after cancellation takes effect.
- Your data, summaries, and preferences are preserved on the Free plan, subject to Free-plan limits.
8. Refund Eligibility
We want you to be satisfied with Yedapo Pro. For purchases made directly through Yedapo (web), the following refund conditions apply:
- Within 7 days of first purchase: If you subscribe to Pro for the first time and are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial payment, no questions asked.
- Service outages: If the Service experiences significant downtime (more than 48 consecutive hours) during your billing period, you may request a prorated refund for the affected period.
- Billing errors: If you were charged incorrectly (for example, double-charged or charged after cancellation), we will refund the erroneous charge in full.
Where your local consumer-protection law grants you a mandatory statutory withdrawal or cancellation right (for example, an EU/EEA right of withdrawal), nothing in these Subscription Terms limits that right.
9. Non-Refundable Situations
For web purchases, refunds are generally not provided in the following cases:
- Requests made more than 7 days after the initial purchase (for first-time subscribers).
- Renewal charges on existing subscriptions — cancel before the renewal date to avoid the charge.
- Partial-period usage — we do not prorate refunds for unused days within a billing cycle, except in the case of qualifying service outages.
- Dissatisfaction with the accuracy, completeness, or quality of AI-generated content, which may vary as described in our Terms of Service.
10. Annual Plans
Annual subscriptions are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of the initial purchase. After 7 days, you may cancel at any time and retain access through the end of your annual billing period, but no partial refund will be issued for the remaining months.
11. How to Request a Refund
For web purchases, contact us at [email protected] with the following information:
- Your account email address
- The date of the charge
- The reason for the refund request
We aim to process refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take an additional 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer. For in-app purchases, please use the Apple or Google refund process as described in Section 6.
12. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first so we can resolve it quickly. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us may result in suspension or termination of your account. We reserve the right to contest chargebacks we believe are invalid.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Subscription Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of a paid subscription after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
